Happy 4th everyone! So today we're going to take a trip back to 1999 with a track off Summerteeth. This album featured very dark lyrics sometimes hidden by upbeat and poppy instrumentation. It was definitely a departure from the "rootsey" Being There & AM albums (we'll get to those in the coming days) It was also an introduction to the more experimental stuff that would later appear on Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. I'd suspect a lot of that influence came from the late Jay Bennett. Well I'm off to have some fun and i hope you are too. Till next time!!In A Future Age
