We're moving up a few years to 1998's Teatro Album for today's post. It took me awhile to get used to the "sound" of this CD, but after many listens it turned into my favorite Willie album from the 90's. Tomorrow we'll take a trip back to the 70's.........

Nothing like a little live Willie. These songs can be found on the great Willie And Family Live Album. I've had the pleasure of seeing Willie in concert three times in the last few years and he sounds as good now as he did on this album (This concert is from 1978!) He's still on tour so I highly recommend checking him out if you get a chance.

I bought Rainy Day Music a few years ago for five bucks at a record store that was going out of business (what a steal) Since then I've gobbled up many Jayhawks albums but this one still remains my favorite. These guys are currently on hiatus, but if you like the singers voice(Gary Louris), check out his other band: Golden Smog (also includes members of Wilco, Soul Asylum, & The Replacements)

I don't know about you, but the start of a new season definitely affects my listening preferences. Like clockwork some cd's find themselves in my play list as soon as the weather starts changing. For whatever reason White Ladder comes back into my life a little bit before Christmas time. I guess it's one of my favorite "cold weather" cd's.
