Tribute

Hey gang! As most of you know today is the 30th anniversary of "The King's" passing. Just so happens that last week was also the anniversary of Jerry Garcia's death. Here's a two-fer to honor these two music greats.

That's All Right - Elvis Presley

It Must Have Been The Roses (Live) - The Grateful Dead

Judas Priest - The Hellion/Electric Eye (Live)

I'm a little beat tonight so you'll have to settle for a clip of old school Priest....

Hey gang. I just back back from a trip and when i checked on the site i realized a lot of the links aren't working. I'm not sure what happened but it seems that the "quickshare" site songs are gone. This was a free service so I guess you get what you pay for. Unfortunately all the songs i posted in July were on Quickshare. I don't have time to upload all the tracks again, so from this point on I'll try to use mediamax. I hope most of you were able to get the tracks while they were available. Bye for now...........

Tuesdays With Dylan

More Dylan ?!!

All Along The Watchtower - off John Wesley Harding

Highway 61 Revisited - off Highway 61 Revisited

Soul Music Sunday - Kool And The Gang

Wow, that might be the Koolest portrait I've ever seen. (get it, cool with a K like the band name?) Alright so I'm not much of a comedian...although I know a few of you out there laughed. Here's two of my favorite tracks from the gang. I especially enjoy the "seagull sound effect" in Cherish. Till we meet again...............

Cherish - off Emergency

Totally 80's Friday! - Cyndi Lauper

Time After Time - off She's So Unusual

True Colors - off True Colors

The Fall Guy (Intro)

Wild Card Thursday! - Fairweather

That's right , I'm getting all crazy on you and having Wild Card Wednesday on a Thursday. Who knows what I'll do next?! Anyways here's a band that I enjoyed that seemed to disappear into thin air. It's even hard to find anything on them online. If you know what happened to em let me know. These two tracks come off one of my favorite road trip Cd's...Lusitania. Enjoy.......and have a nice weekend.
