Bridging The Gap - Bruce Springsteen
I've always been a fan of this first song but it really hit home for me this past December. I was in the North Carolina Mountains with my girlfriend and a few other friends just jumping from small town to small town. This was the first time I've seen that part of the state so it was a bit of an adventure. Well after we stopped at various outlooks and a few gin halls we were on our way to our final destination (in case you were wondering it was Saluda for some dinner) anyways the air was cold, the sky was dark, and I had a mellow buzz from the beers I just had. This song popped on out of nowhere on a local community radio station (I can't recall the name at the time). Anyways it was the perfect soundtrack to the evening.
As far as the second song goes it's plays at the end of the movie The Wrestler. (Which was one of my favorite flicks from the past year) alright that's all I got for now. Hope you enjoy. Till next time

Sunday Morning Coming Down - Pink Floyd
Good afternoon everyone and happy mother's day! It's kind of an overcast day with scattered showers and thunderstorms here in ole Charleston. I live on the 12th floor of an apartment building that overlooks the harbor so it’s pretty amazing watching a storm roll in. I felt that this song featured on 1971's Meddle is an appropriate choice to help "weather" the storm. Enjoy.

Tuesdays With Dylan
Hello again. So as i mentioned before I'm not going to post as much as i did last year but i would like to keep some of the same "themes" i had going. I always looked forward to doing these posts because i got to scan through my collection and pick one or two tracks that were speaking to me that particular week. I'm still trying to get used to writing these things so "bear" with me as i scrape off the rust.
I haven't purchased the new Dylan album. to be honest with you I'm still trying to digest Modern Times. I'm sure I'll get around to it eventually. Oh well for this week's Dylan lets go back to 1971. You can find the version of this track on The Bootleg Series Volumes 1-3. Enjoy.
